That's a long list of books, but I'm actually quite proud of the fact that I've read about half of what I've bought this year!  There are quite a few that I still hope/plan to read before the year is up.  Do you see any favourites in my list?  Let me know if there's a book that I should prioritize!

  1. Woah that is a lot of books! I'm also impressed that you've read half of them already, because I know that is something I struggle to do.

I loved the Shades of Magic books, and I liked but didn't love Schwab's Monsters of Verity duology. I'm really looking forward to my re-read of Vicious, becuase it is my favourite of her books, and I'm especially excited for the sequel next year!

I haven't read either of Nicola Yoon's books but I have been meaning to, and the same goes for Anna-Marie McLemore. I really want to read Turtles All The Way Down because I love John Green and have heard incredible things, particularly on the #ownvoices anxiety and OCD rep. Also Strange the Dreamer and The Language of Thorns are both very high up on my TBR, so I hope you enjoy them.

I hope you get to read all of the books you plan to this year, Melissa, and I hope your Christmas haul is just as long and wonderful <3

    1. Aww, Helia, you're the sweetest! I absolutely ADORED the Shades of Magic books, and I was pleasantly surprised by the Monsters of Verity duology. I've heard that people love one or the other, but rarely both, so I was extra pleased that I fell into the both camp. I have Vicious on my Christmas wish list, and I'm soooooooo excited for that one.

I highly recommend Nicola Yoon's books -- I've enjoyed both of them! And Turtles All the Way Down is as good as everyone says, the OCD and anxiety representations are so incredibly real and honest and the whole book is just perfect. Anna-Marie McLemore and Strange the Dreamer and The Language of Thorns are also very high on my TBR as well, and I'm hopeful that I'll get to them soon! XOXO

I love comments! I will always return the favour whenever I can!!
