2014 Prequel & Sequel Challenge - Wrap-Up Post & Giveaway!

Hey guys! First of all, we want to thank you guys SO much for participating! We were thrilled to have such a great turnout. We're also excited to be hosting it again this year! (If you missed it, here is the signup post.)

We're planning better (and more fun!) things for next year's challenge. We're also condensing the review link ups to every quarter instead of every month, since this year we got too busy and missed a lot of link ups. With a baby (Melissa) and a new house (Jessi), life just got in the way! We hope this won't discourage you from participating again next year.

2014 Wrap up

Here is the linky for you to add your final progress post to. (Please don't add every single review!) This linky is only for others to see how you did. It does not get you an entry into the giveaway. For the giveaway, please see the Rafflecopter below.

To win, you must be following BOTH challenge hosts and you must have also signed up on the original sign up post for the challenge. The final progress post is also mandatory for the giveaway so we can see that you participated. If you don't provide the link to your final progress post, you will be disqualified!

The winners will be announced on Feb 1st on this post. If you win, we will notify you by email and you will have 48 hours to respond or a new winner will be chosen. Good luck!

a Rafflecopter giveaway

  1. No linky has shown up. Please enter me as follows. "Carolyn @ RIEDEL Fascination". I achieved "Veteran" and intend my hard-worked 138 points to count! I hope you enjoy my reviews and organization. I'll use the "rafflecopter" in the meantime. http://cmriedel.wordpress.com/2014/01/10/prequel-sequel-series-bingo/

  2. Is it random via the "rafflecopter", or do high points / efforts get rewarded? I am so hoping the higher the better. By the way Melissa, congratulations on your baby. I've seen the cutie in your picture where we're connected at Goodreads, for quite a while but still wished to marvel at your miracle. :)

    1. Hi Carolyn,
There isn't a linky for this post, but you can enter the giveaway by using the Rafflecopter. The challenge level set was for your own motivation, but each participant gets one entry into the draw. I don't think it would be fair to give more entries to those who read more books, as some people just don't have as much time to read. That's great that you achieved Veteran level though -- congratulations!

  3. I read 26 series books this year and earned 75 points. I'm the type of person who will often put off reading a series because I don't have the time to commit to all the books, but this challenge really pushed me to finish the series I had started. In my post you will have to scroll down to find the series section and I have the reviews posted under the picture. I have the point on the pictures and added up above. I will be joining again next year and like you Melissa I'm hoping to start some series, but also finish them. I really realized how many trilogies I have sitting on my TBR that I just need to binge read. I'm hoping 2015 is the year that I will do that. I also want to finish some of the series I'm close to being done with.

    1. Congratulations on achieving 75 points! That's awesome! I, too, am looking forward to a series-ously great 2015 (pun fully intended!) Happy to have you joining us again!

I love comments! I will always return the favour whenever I can!!
